As pastor, I want to welcome you to the Mount Canaan Baptist Church website. This website is an attempt, on the part of our church, to avail itself to the total community in our efforts to carry out the mandate of our general motto, “To Serve the Present Age.”
Mount Canaan is the mother church of the Mt. Canaan Association, the owner and sponsor of Bettis Academy and Junior College from 1882 thru 1955. We are an engaged church with fourteen auxiliaries, including a youth center with a gym that is open to all that would participate.
Therefore, you are welcome to utilize this website to familiarize yourself with our church and to worship with us to become a part of the overall Mount Canaan Experience.
